You don’t have to be super fit to practice and enjoy ECKD. It is a ‘reality based’ Martial Art-Self Defence system that is taught in gradual, non competitive stages at your own pace. You will gain self confidence while learning with like minded people. Many martial arts practice techniques which over time can be harmful to your joints and tendons.ECKD uses ‘natural body’ movement techniques that improve Skeletal, Muscular and Cardiovascular well being, at the same time you will become fitter while learning the most up to date self defence techniques. As well as the general public your head Instructor John Edwards teaches ‘practical’ and LEGAL self defence skills to - T.A, Police officers, Paramedics, V.I.P Security Guards, Retail staff, Teachers, Security Personnel, and NHS staff etc… ECKD is a highly successful ‘freestyle’ martial art and Self Defence school for adults and children. We are not affiliated to any ‘traditional’ martial art so we created and perfected our own syllabus based on years of ‘real world’ practical self defence needs.
